Traditional festival for girls on March 3. Japanese dolls are on display at homes with little girls.

Diamond-shaped rice cakes, which have three layers of different colors (red, white and green), are traditionally displayed with Hina Dolls. At our home, instead of Hishi-Mochi, we usually eat a diamond-shaped jelly cake which also has three layers of different colors (strawberry, milk and kiwi) on March 3.
